89,2: June 29 was the day with the highest spam load in 2012 - Sspam percentage almost 90 percent
Berlin, July 11, 2012 – On Friday, June 29, 2012, eleven registered the highest spam levels in all of 2012 so far. With a percentage of 89.2 percent, almost nine out of ten e-mails sent on that day were spam. The spam volume was 234 percent higher than the average of the first six months of this year. The spike was caused by a particularly large wave of Viagra spam. Overall, spam levels were 56.6 percent higher in June 2012 compared to May.
