eleven Managed E-Mail Security is the comprehensive solution for the all-around protection of your business e-mail correspondence. A wide range of additional options and settings let you personally configure your e-mail protection to best fit your needs.

TLS Encryption

eleven’s TLS option guarantees companies with particularly high security needs, such as those in the financial or health-care sector, secure e-mail communication with select communication partners, using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) SMTP add-on to encrypt an e-mail’s transmission route. eXpurgate also offers complete certificate examination options. Saving certificates allows a communication partner’s authenticity to be checked during the connection attempt, thereby ensuring the authenticity of the e-mail.

Quarantine

The above-average spam identification rate, in connection with the process-dependent elimination of incorrect categorization of business-related e-mails as spam (Zero False Positives®), generally renders caching filtered e-mails in quarantine unnecessary. Nevertheless, some companies’ and authorities’ requirements demand a quarantine feature, which eleven provides as an add-on.

Affected e-mails in each e-mail account are first cached on eleven’s servers. Users receive a list of available e-mails and can have them redelivered as desired at fully customizable time intervals with a click of the mouse. The eXpurgate quarantine solution is available to eleven Managed E-Mail Security customers. It is exceedingly scalable and suitable for companies of any size. The quarantine solution also supports the comparison of user accounts, e.g. via LDAP or Active Directory.

Reject Mode

eleven recommends that its customers check their e-mails during the SMTP dialog and reject messages categorized as spam before the e-mail server accepts them. The advantages of this approach are that the responsibility for the e-mail is not transferred to the receiving server and that the sender receives an error notification about the unsuccessful delivery. This guarantees that the sender will be notified that their e-mail could not be delivered in the unlikely case of a false positive.
