The large and ever-growing volume of spam has today become a serious threat to corporate e-mail infrastructures. eleven’s enSurance e-mail firewall is an all-embracing solution for safeguarding companies’ e-mail traffic. enSurance ensures that business-related e-mail communication is secure at all times. enSurance provides lasting protection against extreme load peaks, targeted spam attacks and denial-of-service attacks.
How it works
enSurance safeguards essential business communication even during load peaks: legitimate e-mails are delivered immediately
while lower-ranking e-mails are temporarily rejected.
enSurance uses a proprietary, fully dynamic procedure that determines the customer’s main and relevant communication partners with the help of a frequent-partner list. In times of especially high strain, enSurance gives these e-mails priority treatment while temporarily postponing the transmission of e-mails deemed to be of lower priority, delaying their delivery. Important e-mails are therefore delivered without any delay whatsoever.
Mailbomb and mailloop protection
enSurance also provides protection against mailbomb attacks directed at individual recipients within a company and protection against heavy bombardment from a single source that poses a long-term risk to the integrity of MTAs and from mail loops. Users may also define their own individual threshold values in this context.
