E-mail firewall enSurance
eleven’s enSurance e-mail firewall is an all-embracing solution for safeguarding companies’ e-mail traffic.

enSurance e-mail firewall

The e-mail firewall enSurance rounds off the e-mail security package, securing e-mail communication during periods of extreme strain such as denial of service attacks or spam waves. enSurance prevents the e-mail infrastructure from being overloaded and safeguards business-related e-mail communication at all times. In conjunction with the eXpurgate spam protection and antivirus solution, enSurance offers comprehensive integrated e-mail security for companies of all sizes.

How it works:

With enSurance

enSurance uses a proprietary, fully dynamic procedure that determines the main and relevant communication partners with the help of a frequent partner list. In times of especially high strain, enSurance gives these e-mails priority treatment while temporarily postponing the transmission of e-mails deemed to be of lower priority, delaying their delivery. Important e-mails are therefore delivered without any delay. enSurance is fully scalable and works on any platform. Each enSurance platform can support and protect up to 20 parallel eXpurgate installations (e-mail servers) at the same time.

enSurance mail bomb protection

enSurance provides reliable protection from mail bomb attacks. Mail bombings are the most common form of denial-of-service attacks, and involve a large number of e-mails being sent to a certain person or from an individual sender to an e-mail system, in order to deliberately overload an individual e-mail account or an individual e-mail server. enSurance mail bomb protection provides reliable, individual protection from mail bombings by allowing customers to individually configure the number of e-mails that can be received by a particular account or from a particular sender over a defined period.

enSurance mail loop protection

enSurance reliably protects companies from “mail loops”, which are created when, for example, employees set up automatic forwarding of their private e-mails to their company account, or vice versa. If the employee’s inbox completely fills up at the same time as an “out of office” automatic is active, the resulting mail loop can very quickly spiral out of control. enSurance mail loop protection recognizes these loops and makes it possible to regulate e-mail traffic between a particular sender and an employee’s account, thus breaking the loop.
