Eleven is an active part of several associations, alliances and inititives which serve to advance IT security – both in Germany and worldwide. With this long-term commitment, Eleven aims to bundle knowledge on IT security, work together with others to improve IT security and raise public awareness for these issues.
eco - Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft e.V.
eco ist he association of the internet industry in Germany. As the initiator of the German Anti-Spam Summit, which first took place in 2003, eco was among the first to engage actively in the fight against the threats originating in spam.
ETIS – The Global IT Association or Telecommunications
ETIS brings together the major telecommunications providers in Europe on key information and communication technology issues. The mission of ETIS is to enable its members to improve their business performance by personal exchange of information on using ICT effectively. Eleven is an active member of the ETIS Anti Spam working group.
IT Security Made in Germany
IT Security Made in Germany co-ordinates the common interests of Germen IT security providers with regard to politics, economy, science and the public. TeleTrust promotes the reputation of German IT security providers and solutions. Eleven is among the first reciptions of the „IT Security Made in Germany“ seal of quality.
MAAWG – Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group
The purpose of MAAWG is to bring the messaging industry together to work collaboratively and to successfully address the various forms of messaging abuse, such as spam, viruses, denial-of-service attacks and other messaging exploitations. To accomplish this, MAAWG develops initiatives in the three areas necessary to resolve the messaging abuse problem: industry collaboration, technology, and public policy.
TeleTrusT – Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V.
The IT Security association TeleTrusT, founded in 1989, is the leading German association in the field of IT security. TeleTrusT quickly developed into a well known competence network for IT Security whose voice is heard throughout Germany and Europe. Today TeleTrusT represents more than 100 members from industry, science and research as well as public institutions.
